Posted March 13, WampServer is the only packaged solution that will allow you to reproduce your production server. An aside - I had probs with running skype and wamp5 together and resolved it by poking around in skype till I found where to change the port setting. So couldnt get this working using wamp On the SEO, I'm sure that a play around in the configuration is all that's needed, but I personally haven't had time to look into this deeper.

Be aware that there are a few things that may not work properly on a local wampServer, but these aren't too important: Please download and install the Zend Optimizer available without charge on the Web Server. It would probably be handy keeping the database names the same for convenience when you backup the SQL for transfer.

Have now installed the new wampserver 2 and will try again! And I have unchecked using port 80 and as alternatives. The Zend Optimizer is a free product available for download from Zend Technologies. I downloaded the latest version of wamp and it doesn't work. The replaced code blocks perform exactly the same operations as the original code, only faster. wmp
